Frequently Asked Questions

Our Products

Do you use pesticides on your lavender, roses and tuberose?

We do not use any pesticides or other synthetic products on our lavender.

Are your products available online and on the farm outside of the events?

Yes. Our products are available online and outside of HvH events. You can contact us to come to the farm to purchase products by texting Ron at (707) 828-3265 and arranging a time.

Where do you source your product raw materials?

Our products are primarily sourced from flowers grown on our farm, but are then supplemented with top-quality materials like carrier oils from the top manufacturers.

Our Farm

How large is the farm?

The farm is 11 acres, which includes 2 acres of lavender and another 4 acres of cut flowers.

What products do you produce on the farm?

We grow flowers, including tulips, lilac, Damask rose, chrysanthemums, sunflowers, cosmos, marigolds, Shasta daisies, tuberose, goldenrod, California poppies, Scabiosa, and more. These support our agri-tourism events and are used to make wellness products (essential oils, hydrosols, soaps, etc).

When is the farm open to the public?

The farm is open on weekends DURING EVENTS… with the exact hours dependent on the season and the event. Outside of events and weekends, an appointment is required to visit the farm.

Our Events

Are the events free to the public?

There is no cost to come to the farm for the Lavender, Monarchs and Marigolds, and Holiday Greens events. However, due to traffic, the Tulip Pull-up event does require a reservation for picking time and payment.

Photo Sessions

Do I need to bring my own photographer?

Yes. HvH does not supply photographers. We can recommend a list of excellent photographers. We recommend that you research their style to ensure it matches your vision.

Can I take personal photos at the HvH events?

Yes. You can take personal photos at the HvH events as long as it is not a commercial session, i.e., a photographer and client session. Photography sessions by professional photographers need to be booked through the app identified above.
