Floral Agri-tourism venue in Suisun Valley, California.
Our Farm
Lisa Haas & Ron vanHuuksloot
After several years dabbling in amateur photography and floral adventures, Lisa and Ron began commercial cut flower farming in earnest. The pandemic threw wholesale markets a curveball, so the pair opened their doors to the neighborhood. Inspired by an enthusiastic community of flower lovers, Lisa and Ron purchased land in 2020 to open HvH Specialty Growers as a Suisun Valley destination. Visitors are welcome to share in the beauty of the flower farm and discover the incredible difference locally grown flowers make.
The farm hosts 4 events in the year:
- Tulip Pull-up Mid February through April 1 weekends (pull up your own dozen tulips on-the-bulb from the 40,000 planted, to enjoy and plant in your own garden in the fall)
- Lavender Celebration June 1 through July 15 weekends (U pick fragrant lavender and buy farm-made lavender products, including hydrosol, essential oils, fragrance oils, soaps, lotion bars, etc.)
- Marigolds & Monarchs October 1 through November 1 weekends (Harvest festival with food, drink, and product vendors to celebrate Harvest and Dia de los Muertos)
- Christmas Popups November 15 through December 15 weekends (photo opportunity with 8′ wreath, Christmas gift including lavender products)
Odin
When guests arrive at HvH Specialty Growers, they’re often first greeted by Odin — our loyal farm ambassador with a wagging tail and a nose for adventure.
Rescued as a stray but destined for farm life, Odin quickly found his true calling among the flowers, where he spends his days as Ron’s trusty sidekick, supervising workshops, and making sure every visitor feels at home.
Whether he’s napping in the shade of a tractor or posing proudly beside freshly cut blooms, Odin embodies the warmth and charm of our farm — friendly, grounded, and full of joy.
He’s not just our greeter; he’s part of what makes HvH Specialty Growers feel like family.
HvH Specialty Growers is also proud to be part of Agri-tourism in Northern California amongst Northern California's finest vintners and growers.
